Abletek Overview:
Open for business in 2001, Abletek began as a general electrical contracting
business. We built up our business supporting a wide customer base, offering
a range of electrical services. In 2007, we decided to narrow our services,
and to focus on Public Address (PA) and "Tannoy" design and installation.
Based near the city of Peterborough, Abletek is centrally located to the
counties of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk. We provide direct
PA, Tannoy & Sound Reinforcement design and installation services as
well as working through a number of the UK's leading contractor and construction
companies. Our customer base extends throughout the UK. However, our business
activities are mainly focused within the Midlands, South and South East
regions.
Sales:
Our sales are based through our installation and support services, our primary
sales channel is direct to our customers. We also regularly work through
builders, contractors and facilities management companies. Abletek is not
'tied' to any particular product or manufacturer - this way, we are able
to offer the widest range of products at a budget to support most customer
demands. We do not provide a sales and distribution service, and don't generally
sell products or items outside our customer base or through our installation
and support services.
We can generally offer direct purchase or leased sales - happy to discuss
these options on a project by project basis.
Customer Support:
We are committed to providing the highest level of pre-sales and post-sales
customer support.
Pre-Sales: We provide initial advice and support via phone
and email. For quotes and more detailed specific arrangements we would normally
visit the customer and proposed site to provide extended support, and to
take measurements against a project design, proposal and following quotation.
Post-Sales: Once installed, a product or entire system
is configured, tested and commissioned by an engineer. Information, drawings
and user details are then provided to the customer (as required). Most installed
systems will require a short demonstration of use - we are happy to provide
additional/specific training, as required and/or if the project is particularly
complicated.
Ongoing & Maintenance: Abletek offers both contracted
and demand based scheduled and break/fix maintenance services - rates and
cover reflect the size and complexity of the installation. We are happy
to discuss this at any time, will be offered and covered in detail during
proposal and quotation stage - as appropriate.
